duty calls

Today is my first 24 hour shift as duty chaplain. I'm currently tucked in the bed in the on-call room. I was paged a couple of times in the early evening. I have completed my scheduled duties for the day. So far it's quiet. I haven't seen any roaches or mice. The room is smoke-free. And there's no roommate-and-boyfriend drama. I love it! I may actually get a good night's sleep! That is, as long as the beeper doesn't go off...*knock on wood*
