move out, don't mess around...

Okay, so...

Not only do I need to find a job for after graduation, I also need to find an apartment ASAP. My roommate has asked me to move out. Yes, that's right. She's decided after almost three years of living well together, she can't take it anymore. I need to be out. She didn't give me a date, but from what I sensed from her, the sooner the better.

It's upsetting, of course, but the more we talked about it, the more I realized that's what I need to do.

The timing STINKS. I mean, I would have preferred knowing where I would be after May and then decide on moving. But...no. At this point I need to look for something on a month-to-month basis until I figure out what is going to happen next. People have been mentioning availabilities in Brooklyn and Astoria, which is not horrible, but since I'm still finishing school, I would ideally like to stay in the area.

*sigh*

Happy Birthday to me...

My birthday wish...a great job and a great apartment. Or at least some divine guidance on what I'm supposed to be doing. It's been a STRANGE season of Lent.
